The M³-lite PCBA is designed to support the flexible and scalable VEST VS8300 SoM with built-in 802.11 b/g/n/ac “Wave 2” WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity in the module.  This allow devices to emit beacons and offer peer-to-peer connectivity with mobile phones.

The vertical connectors used in M³-lite for standard peripheral expansion and industrial bus interfaces and at a footprint that is roughly the size of a 7” widescreen touch panel. SDR104 capable micro-SD card interface provides wide options to augment the non-volatile storage provided by the eMMC on-board VS8300 SoM to store application, data or media assets.

VS8300 SoM powered M³-lite PCBAs provide the scalability required to support as much as 3 displays. And the built-in audio amplifier allows HMI designers to attach a stereo speaker to provide a multimedia rich experience when users interact with their devices and appliances.
